Materials you will Need
1 small clear jar with lid, cleaned and dried
Small white stones from a garden store or aquarium supply
1 tiny Santa Claus figure
1 tiny house with a snowy roof
Non-toxic craft glue that will stick to plastic
White glitter
Water
1 teaspoon isopropyl alcohol (keep away from children)
How to Make It
Step 1:
Glue the Santa Clause and the house to the inside of the jar lid. Add white rocks to be glaciers or snow drifts. Be sure to leave enough room that the lid can be closed. Let it dry completely.
Step 2:
Fill the jar will water, but leave some room to accommodate the figures. You can test this by putting the lid on when the glue holding the figures has dried.
Step 3:
Add on teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol. Again test to make sure there is enough room for the figures with a little space to spare.
Step 4:
Add the white glitter to the water. Again make sure the figures will fit.
Step 5:
Put the lid with the figures glued into it on the jar.
Step 6:
Parents should then seal the lid with a hot glue gun.
Step 7:
When the glue has dried, shake the jar and set it on its lid to watch the snow fall.
