Outgrown Shoe Mother's Day Preschool Craft
Instead of passing down or tossing away outgrown shoes, preschoolers can turn them into cleaver little plant holders for their moms on Mother’s Day. Ladies will love this memento that will remind them of how small their children were year after year. Adult help is required for this one but the finished product is wonderful!
Preschooler’s Outgrown Shoe
Silver or Gold Spray Paint
Permanent Marker
Dixie Cup or Small Flower Pot
Soil
Seeds or a Flower
Have an adult spray paint the shoe with silver or gold metallic paint and let dry. It may take a day to dry.
Step Two:
Have your preschooler write their name and the year on the bottom of the shoe with a permanent marker.
Step Three:
Fill the Dixie cup or small flower pot with soil and plant the flower (or the seed if you are using seeds).
Step Four:
Place the planted flower into the opening in the shoe. Tie a little tag wishing mom a Happy Mother’s Day onto the shoe and it’s ready to be presented as a gift!
