Marshmallow Chick Preschool Craft

With Easter on the way, you’ll want to spend some time making these cute little Marshmallow Chick in Egg Preschool Crafts. You’ll have fun creating them and fun snacking on the extras! Get the supplies together, sit down and make some Easter decorations with your preschooler today.

What You Need

Empty Egg Shell Halves
Large Marshmallows – pastel colored ones if you can find them.
Orange and Black Construction Paper
Easter Grass
Scissors
Glue
Yellow Food Coloring (optional)

How To Make It

Step One:
Eat eggs for breakfast and save the shells. Wash them out and thoroughly dry.

Step Two:
If you were able to find pastel colored marshmallows, choose two yellow ones. (f not, an option is to color the plain white ones with yellow food coloring). Glue one to the inside of the egg.

Step Three:
Glue the second one on top of the first inside the egg.

Step Four:
Cut out a little beak from the orange paper and two little eyes from the black paper. Glue in place.

Step Five:
Find a spot on a table or you mantel and build a little nest with the Easter grass. Place the chick on it for a fun Easter decoration.

Variations

The chicks don’t all have to be yellow. Have a little fun making all different ones. This isn’t just an Easter craft, it’s is great for spring crafting as well.
