Gather up some small jingle bells, chenille stems and ribbon and start making these Jingle Bell Wreaths with your preschooler before the holiday arrives.

Difficulty Level 1 out of 5What You Need

Chenille Stem (red or green)
Pack of Small Jingle Bells (12mm size use in photo)
Ribbon For Bow and Hanging

How To Make It

Wreath Close Up ©mcmath2007Step One:
Put a bend in the chenille stem about 3 inches from one end. Show your preschooler how to “thread” on the bells, one right after the other.

Step Two:
Adjust all the bells do they fit tightly together. When you have enough threaded to make a wreath about 5” in diameter, twist the two ends of the chenille stem together and tuck under.

Step Three:
Tie ribbon into a bow and add a loop for hanging. You’re done!

Variations

Silver bells were used for the wreath in the photo. You can use any color you want even a combination of colors. Make a lot of these with your preschooler and give them as gifts to friends and family. Get some bigger jingle bells and some strong wire and make a larger wreath.
