After you try the ghosts, why not add a little color and make pumpkins or bats to make a Halloween menagerie. Glue and googlie eyes set the stage for great Halloween preschool fun.

A Lot of White Glue
Googlie Eyes
Dinner Plate
Buttons, beads, etc. for more decoration (optional)
Utility Razor Blade - PARENTS USE ONLY!

Step One:
Make an outline of a ghost shape on a dinner plate with the glue and let your preschooler fill it in. Make sure it is pretty thick.

Step Two:
Glue Ghost3 ©mcmath2007 While the glue is wet, add the googlie eyes and any other adornments you may want.

Step Three:
Let it dry overnight. You can try to speed it along with a hair dryer or set it in the sun.

Step Four:
PARENTS ONLY - Carefully peel your ghosts from the plate using the razor blade. This can be a little tricky; just go slow. Now you're done! You can set them around the house or punch a hole in the top and use string to hang your ghosties!

Variations

Add orange food coloring to the glue and make pumpkins, add purple and make bats. You can use this same technique to make snowmen, fall leaves, or any other shape you want.
