Building sand castles at the beach is a fun activity that most preschoolers enjoy. But to sit by and watch the waves devour their creations can be quite a disappointment. This Forever Sand Castle preschool craft helps to avoid that unpleasant experience. Even if you live hundreds of miles from the ocean you and your preschooler can enjoy the fun of building sand castles any time and because they harden, you can keep them forever – well, almost!
3 cups of sand (either from the beach or playground)
1 ¾ cups of Cornstarch
1 ½ cups of Water
Pot to Cook it in – preferably an old one

Step Four:
Let your castle dry for a day or so and you have a forever sand castle!
