Everyday Bulletin Board Preschool Craft

This everyday bulletin board preschool craft is not only fun for your preschooler it’s useful too! Whether your child is in preschool or just starting kindergarten it’s the perfect craft for back to school time and will help you stay organized. Hang it in the kitchen or near the front door and you will never lose that permission slip or forget an important date in your preschooler’s schedule.

What You Need

Bulletin Board - any type will work but it’s nice to have a magnetic white board/chalk board part as well as a cork part.
3 Clothes Pins
Paints, stickers, markers, etc. for decoration
Strong Glue – for glueing clothespins on the bulletin board
Magnets and/or Pushpins
Adhesive Shelf Paper (optional)

How To Make It

Step One:
Let your preschooler decorate the outside frame of the bulletin board with paints, stickers, markers etc. Set aside to dry.

Step Two:
Paint the clothespins. Set aside to dry.

Step Three:
This is probably best done by an adult. Glue the clothespins on to the frame of the bulleting board. These will be used to display artwork that your preschooler brings home.

Step Four: (optional)
Cover the cork section of the bulletin board with adhesive shelf paper that your preschooler can decorate with markers and stickers as well.

Step Five:
Now you are ready to add a calendar, important papers, artwork etc. You’re ready for school to start!

Variations:

Make this bulletin board for the whole family – keep track of all of your family activities and schedules. Add magnetic containers to hold lunch money; add hooks for keys.
