Bottle Cap Alphabet Preschool Craft
Instead of buying those plastic alphabet magnets for you fridge, make your own! You and your preschooler will have fun learning the alphabet while making these fun bottle cap magnets. And what makes these better than the store bought variety? You can color coordinate them to match your kitchen, you can have more than one of each letter, and you get to spend quality time together making the project. So start saving those bottle caps (or purchase them) so you too can create “custom designed” alphabet magnets.
26 Bottle Caps (or more if you want multiple letters)
Paint
Foam Alphabet Stickers
A Roll of Adhesive Magnet Strip
Scissors
Paint the bottle caps what ever color you choose. You could paint them all different colors or pick one color that coordinates with your décor. Let dry.
Step Two:
Put one foam alphabet sticker into each cap.
Step Three:
Cut small pieces of the magnet strips and stick to the back side of the caps. Now you just need to stick them to the fridge!

Step One:Paint the bottle caps what ever color you choose. You could paint them all different colors or pick one color that coordinates with your décor. Let dry.
Step Two:

Step Three:
Cut small pieces of the magnet strips and stick to the back side of the caps. Now you just need to stick them to the fridge!
Variations
You could do the same thing with numbers as well. If you make a large quantity of alphabet or number magnets, your preschooler could begin to spell words.
