Beeswax Candle Preschool Craft
Normally, you don’t think of candle making as a preschool craft. But with sheets of bees wax you and your preschooler can make a collection of different shaped candles to give as gifts for just about any holiday. Use heart shapes for Valentine’s Day, gingerbread man shapes for Christmas, or flower shapes for Mother’s Day. The possibilities are endless and you end up with a wonderful handmade gift that your preschooler made all on their own (mostly!)

Note: Bees Wax and Wicks are available at most craft stores.
Lay down some wax paper on your work surface and spread out the bees wax.
Step Two:
With one of the cookie cutters, cut out 6 shapes, all the same.
Step Three:
Stack three of the shapes on top of each other. Place the wick next leaving about a half inch hanging off the top of the shape.
Step Four:
Stack the rest of the shapes onto of the wick, sandwiching it in. If the bees wax shapes are not holding together, heat them with a hair dryer a little to get the wax sticking. You’re done!
